BD Ripper (3D Plus) Error Message on All DVDs

Trying to rip a few DVDs that came out today, and I'm getting an error message when DVDFab scans any disc.

"An Unknown Error Occurred. Please check if there is a new version on the DVDFAb website."

I downloaded the latest version, rebooted my computer and the new version gives me the same error message. Any ideas on what's going on. I tried reading the disc on two Blu-ray DVD Players...

Hallo,

seit heute bekomme ich beim Versuch eine Blu Ray zu Rippen immer die Fehlermeldung "Ein unbekannter Fehler ist aufgetreten. Bitte überprüfen Sie mal, ob eine neue Version auf DVDFAB zur Verfügung steht."

Habe die aktuellste Version und auch schn deinstalliert und neu installiert.

Habe auch eine alte 9er Version getestet und den gleichen Fehler erhalten.

PC habe ich auch neu gestartet.

alternativen Film habe ich auch getestet.

Hier die letzte Einträge aus den internal Logs im anhang.

BD of "Moana" will not load. Get "Unknown Error has Occurred" and just directs to DVDFab web site.

Title plays just fine in PowerDVD.

Hallo Zusammen,

habe ein Problem mit dem Kopieren von Planet der Affen: Revolution und zwar liest er die Blu Ray, allerdings mit der Meldung, dass ich nachsehen soll, ob nicht eine Neue Version des Passkeys verfügbar ist

Vielleicht kann mir wer helfen.

DVDFab v10.0.2.8 BluRays werden plötzlich nicht mehr eingelesen

Grüß Euch,

ich habe auf einmal das Problem, dass BluRays, die früher gingen, aktuell nicht mehr eingelesen werden können. Es erscheint die Fehlermeldung, dass ein unbekannter Fehler aufgetreten ist. Wie gesagt - vorgestern gingen die noch. Der einzige Unterschied ich habe das LAufwerk getauscht. Von LG auf Pioneer - BDR209 EBK. DAs alte ging nicht mehr - bin mir aber jetzt nicht mehr so sicher obs tatsächlich am Laufwerk lag - oder am Kopierschutz...
VLC spielt die Dinger auch nicht mehr ab - auch mit Fehlermldung. PowerDVD jdeoch spielt die Filme. Ich habe derzeit Marvels Thor und Doctor Strange, die ich probiert habe. Beide liessen sich vorgestern noch abspielen und auch rippen - nun nicht mehr. Habe DVD FAB 10 - aktuelle Version - Komplettpaket gekauft - inkl. Passkey - wobei mir diese Soft unter Lizenz-Info nicht angezeigt wird - müsste die da nicht drin stehen? Evlt liegt es somit tatsächlich nur am Kopierschutz, dass es nicht geht, wobei - warum spielt dann Power DVD die Filme ab?

Performance Hacksaw Ridge StealthyClone or so called 'Screen Pass-protected discs'

I just did a full disc bluray copy of Hackaw Ridge using both V9 and V10 and the times the movie is all out of sequence. I thought that DVDFAB has this StealthyClone feature where it fixes this type of 'screen pass protection' ?

I also got the same problem with expendables 2 as well. and a while back with Allegiant.

so is this fixable? thanks!

BD Ripper (3D Plus) HSBS 3D subtitles has no depth

When ripping movies as half side-by-side, the subtitles comes out completely flat, causing them to appear inside or behind objects in the scene.

Looking at subtitles that appear at the wrong 3D plane is not very comfortable either.

Is it possible to add a setting that will adjust the subtitles to pop more out of the screen like they do when playing the disc on a Bluray player?

CPU/GPU CUDA acceleration not working?

Ever since i started using dvdfab i have noticed on my system monitor app on the phone and can there see that it takes a bit of VRAM but both GPU cores are at 0% . And i have cuda activated in the settings.

CPU: Core i7 5960X

GPU 2x ASUS strix gaming GTX 1080 SLI

is it suppose to be like that? when i run a 2 pass 15Mbit h265 convertion i have about 22 FPS on pass 1 and then 16 on pass 2. with my rigg it shouldnt take 6 hrs to encode a blkuray to x265 MP4.

Performance Task 1 fail error=401

I keep getting a Task 1 Fail! Error=401 message when attempting Blu-ray full disc copy to BD25. Discs copy fine for BD50 but will also fail when attempting to compress BD folder down to BD25. This occurs on versions 8.1.7.8 thru 10 running Windows 10 64-bit. Licenses are fine. Help!!!!

DVD Ripper Why increase DVD ripping resolution?

Hi,

this is probably a stupid question (in two parts) so here goes....

1) If the DVD standard provides a maximum resolution of 720x576 (@25fps)
why would I want to rip a DVD with higher resolutions settings in DVDFab?

2) In the DVDFab Edit Window under the Crop tab I see a resolution suggested by DVDFab (see the attached schreenshot) which is much higher than the above DVD standard. How can that be?

I've been trying to understand how this works but have had no luck in finding a clear explanation so I was hoping someone in the forum might want to help me out...

BD Ripper (3D Plus) Can't Rip 2005 Dark Shadows movie Blu-ray

I am running Mac OS X 10.11.6, using DVDfab 9 version 9.3.1.8 and DVDfab 10 version 10.0.1.9.
DVDfab 9 gets stuck at 0% and nothing happens.
DVDfab 10 indicates "Process Failed" and error reads:

General Question download audio tracks

So, is the infected audio track discarded and a new audio track without the Cinavia watermark substituted?

If so, does that require the download of the new audio track?

If so, what's the typical size of new audio tracks (both for DVD and BluRay)?

Just wondering as Comcrap will cap my bandwidth after I use too much (which I'm bumping up to with normal streaming and internet usage).
